About Jenny Blake

Jenny Blake

Jenny Blake is a life coach and learning & development professional who helps young people gain confidence and control over their lives. She provides clients with practical guidance for finding their passion and moving toward greater balance and fulfillment.

Jenny has also worked at Google since 2006. She started as a Training Specialist for Online Sales & Operations and now manages a team focused on internal product training for North America. Her dream is to see free coaching made available to all employees.

Prior to Google and halfway through her Junior year at UCLA, Jenny left school to help launch a start-up company called Polimetrix (later acquired and renamed YouGovPolimetrix) with her professor and mentor Lynn Vavreck. For two years she served as the Office Manager, Marketing Assistant and Webmaster. The experience of leaving school before her friends inspired her to start this website to help recent graduates navigate their Life After College.

Jenny went back to finish at UCLA in the Spring of 2005. She graduated in three years with degrees in Political Science and Communications, and with several distinctions - Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude and College Honors.

Jenny has served as a volunteer advisor for the Print Media group within the California Youth & Government program (a group of over 2,000 high school students who convene in Sacramento every year for a five-day Model Legislature & Court) since 2001. She also teaches business skills to first graders through a program called Junior Achievement.

Jenny's interests outside of work include reading, writing, yoga, personal finance, gadgets, technology, football, and website development.
