Deep down (or not) I am a big tech geek. I love, and I mean LOVE, fun web applications that make my life easier or just plain better. Some that I’ve already mentioned on this site include Mint, Jott, DailyPlate, Google Bookmarks, ChaCha and Doodle – to name a few of my favorites.
So it pleases me greatly to share with you Webware’s Top 100 Web 2.0 Apps for 2008. I haven’t tried all of them, but here are some highlights from the list that you might find exciting:
- Personal Productivity: Remember the Milk (and Todoist – different product but very similar), I Want Sandy, and Google Docs
- Music: Pandora, Live365 (Online Radio) and my own addition: Yahoo! Music
- Blogosphere: Google Reader (how I keep up with all of my favorite blogs), iGoogle and one that isn’t really an app – Technorati’s Top 100 blogs
- Fun/Geeky/Random: Woot, Worth1000 (Crazy Photoshopping) and my own additions: ThinkGeek.com (someone make a note that I want this for Christmas!) and Twitter (Watch out it’s addicting! You can follow my Twitters here)
Got a favorite Web 2.0 App? Do tell.
And P.S. – don’t expect another blog post on Web 2.0 apps anytime soon – I used just about every single one I had up my sleeve in this post!
