Do I post what I'm eating? Not so much. Do I post which adult dvd I'm watching? No, not that. I do occasionally like reading about what others have eaten. Shrimp cocktail? Oh, great idea. I haven't had that in a while. I think I'll have some. What's wrong with that?

TB - It's funny that you mention that. Twitter has grown even more on me (in a big way!) since I wrote this post. I also noticed that it does take time to really get into. I love finding the random pieces of information too - quotes, links, people - never a dull moment!

The best part for me has been actually making "real life" friends - meeting people I've interacted with on Twitter in person. That's never happened on Facebook for me, but Facebook is great for seeing more sides of a person and keeping up with old friends. Facebook, blogs and Twitter definitely compliment each other, as you said :D

Twitter definitely has a slower start than facebook because people don't see the point and it takes a while to find out who to follow etc.. I've found some random pieces of information on twitter that I'd have never seen otherwise - that's enough for me. It's definitely a compliment to facebook not a competitor.

Okay, okay! You are the third person who has loved Twitter that I know...so I will try it! I haven't yet because I was afraid it would suck more time away from me than the computer already does. But you're so convincing, Jenny B! Love ya!

Great post! Yea I think it's funny when people ask me why I'm on Twitter, you just have to try it and find out! It's proven to be a valuable and fun tool.
