Beautiful! What can I say, reading this it took me back to my graduation day which was a while away now and at present really hit a note with me and my work environment ... how I wish someone had said that to me back then instead of setting us up to want more, expect more and then when we have more we're still not content.
Life really does happen in the middle and learning to adapt, accept and love that uncertainty about life will only make it even more worth it.

I'm late posting a comment on this post Jenny, but it could NOT have come at a better time. Talk about inspirational! Focus and celebrate small moments of contentedness, and live in the middle. I mean really, how simple is that? (Ironically, though, it's not simple to do.)

Honestly, this was like a really, really good yoga stretch in the written format. So thank you to your professor for thinking this wise piece of advice, and thank YOU for sharing it! It's gotten me through many a day in the last few weeks. :)
